New York State and New York City laws require employers to take specific steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. These include:

  • Providing and monitoring employee training
  • Establishing written policies with grievance procedures
  • Giving employees official notice

At https://www.nyc.gov/site/cchr/law/sexual-harassment-training.page, you can find more information about NYC requirements, and also access the 45-minute virtual training video that meets State and City annual training requirements.
