Unlocking employee accounts in Centrally HR

A user’s account may become locked after more than 3 failed login attempts or if the wrong code is entered for virtual authentication (when requested by the system). A Company Administrator or HR Manager can follow these instructions to unlock a user account:

  1. Log in to your Centrally HR account. From the home page, click Employee Management > Unlock Employee Account.
    1. Type the employee's name into the search box. The name will populate below the search bar. Select the employee from the drop-down, then click Unlock.
      The account is now unlocked!
      If the employee needs assistance resetting their password or accessing their account, direct them to our Payroll FAQs Guide.
  2. You can also access this feature by clicking the Menu Icon:
    1. From the menu, navigate to:
      TEAM > HR > Employee Maintenance > Password Unlock
    2. Type the employee's name into the search box. The name will populate below the search bar. Select the employee from the drop-down, then click Unlock.
      The account is now unlocked!
